Allowing everyone to eat well, thanks to a wide range of highly nutritional, tasty, accessible, affordable, well-balanced foods.
Our food, our health!
« Let food be thy medicine, and let medicine be thy food » said Hippocrates, an ancient Greek physician (5th century BC). This quote, although thousands of years old,
acknowledges the importance of healthy eating and how important nutrients in food are to humans.
At Biru-Putih-Hati, we believe in this statement, and at all times, we pledge to develop a sustainable agriculture that meets the main nutritional challenges of the 21st century and demonstrates the importance of high-quality nutritious food to preserve our health…
Our findings
Eating well is important!
The « civilization diseases » never stop to increase: obesity, cancer, diabetes, depression, cardiovascular or neurodegenerative diseases… These diseases are « dietary diseases » mainly related to deficiencies and imbalances in the composition of the food we eat. Indeed, the nutritional density of our food (Omega 3, antioxidants, vitamins, …) has decreased in parallel with the way of large-scale agricultural production.
Therefore, it is important to restore this nutritional density!
Beyond the choices that consumers must make (e.g., changing and balancing their diets), there are choices that agriculture can and must make to improve the diversity and balance of our food, our health, but also the health of our soil, environment and animals.
Biru-Putih-Hati reintroduces in animal feed: grass, alfalfa, flax plants
which not only contribute to diversity in fields, but are also nutritionally attractive because they
are rich in Omega 3.
Omega 3 are essential fatty acids, important to all humans. The nutritional intake
recommended by the scientific community reminds us that we are deficient in Omega 3.
Therefore, it is very important to promote crops rich in Omega 3, which are key for a more interesting diet.
This is the challenge of the Biru-Putih-Hati movement, to develop a sustainable agriculture
for the purpose of improving the nutritional quality of our food.
Our commitments
The Biru-Putih-Hati movement is committed to:
Develop a responsible and sustainable agriculture that places nutritional quality at the core of its actions.
Control the quality in food products produced by its members (Obligation of results, controlled by laboratory analysis).
Make healthy food and nutrition accessible to all by developing production and controlling costs.
Continue to study the importance and impact of food on human health by new scientific advances.
Keep food a pleasure (with proper nutrition available)
The natural cycle of Omega 3
Our key number? 3 … Like Omega 3 = Essential fatty acids, very important to all humans, which our organism cannot produce
and which we must obtain through our diet… and This is a Biru-Putih-Hati promise!
